Die Sonne ist endlich da, mehr und mehr Pandemiebeschränkungen werden aufgehoben und das kulturelle und sonstige Freizeitangebot wächst auch wieder! Ganz ungewohnt ist es, tatsächliche, reale Veranstaltungstipps für den Juni 2021 geben zu können. Viel Spaß bei den Events! Von Hannah Mück.
Kultur auf der Bühne
Eröffnung der Inselbühne Potsdam
Freudige Nachrichten gab es für die neu umgebaute Freilichtbühne auf der Potsdamer Freundschaftsinsel, die Inselbühne Potsdam: Zumindestens für diesen Monat, wenn die Inzidenz so niedrig bleibt, auch für den ganzen Sommer und eventuell auch die nächsten Jahre, können Kulturschaffende, egal ob mit bekannteren Namen oder noch unbekannt, unter freiem Himmel auftreten. Von der bekannten „Fête de la Musique“ über verschiedene Lesungen, Gottesdienste bis hin zu jungen Musikgruppen ist bestimmt für jede:n was dabei. Eine andere speakUP-Redakteurin hat sich noch genauer mit den Köpfen hinter dem Projekt beschäftigt, hier ihr Artikel.
Im Übrigen sucht das Team noch Verstärkung für den Sommer, bei Interesse an einem Job, schreibt sie einfach über den Kontakt auf ihrer Website an. Die Veranstaltungen sind sogar kostenlos, nur eine Online-Anmeldung und ein negatives Testergebnis sind notwendig – aber das gehört ja jetzt sowieso schon zu unserem neuen Alltag.

Museen in Potsdam und Berlin
Überraschenderweise dürfen Museen in Potsdam und Berlin, also geschlossene Räume, auch schon wieder öffnen. In Potsdam sind das Filmmuseum, das FLUXUS und das Museum Barberini mit Gemälden des Impressionismus und Barocks zu empfehlen, in Berlin sind die meisten großen Häuser auch wieder offen. Teilweise benötigt ihr kein Testergebnis, aber wenn ihr danach eh noch in ein Restaurant nebenan wollt, schadet es natürlich nicht einen Test zu machen!

09.-20.06. | Berlinale
Es war fast ein kleiner Schock als mir Freund:innen geschickt haben, dass die Berlinale, trotz der immer noch andauernden Pandemie und nur (?) 18% vollständig geimpfter Bürger:innen vor Ort in Berlin, stattfindet. In Spielstätten, die über ganz Berlin im Freien verteilt sind, könnt ihr rund 400 tolle Filme aus vielen verschiedenen Ländern sehen. Ein negatives Testergebnis und das Tragen einer Maske ist hier natürlich auch notwendig.

beachFIT Volleyballanlage
Wie die oder der andere von euch vielleicht schon mitbekommen hat, hat sich das Team vom Hochschulsport viel Mühe gegeben und passend für den Sommer eine neue Beachvolleyballanlage gebaut. Für die Nutzung der insgesamt sieben Felder am Neuen Palais könnt ihr euch online anmelden. Am Mittwoch, den 16.06.2021, gibt es sogar ein Beachvolleyballturnier, für das ihr euch noch registrieren könnt – auf Abstand die Spieler:innen anzufeuern geht natürlich genauso!

Opening of the Open-Air Theatre: Inselbühne Potsdam
Good news for the newly rebuilt open-air stage on the Friendship-Island in Potsdam: the „Island Stage“ can open at least for this summer! In June and the following months, provided that the incidence will remain this low, many artists, some more famous ones and some smaller ones, can perform, read, or dance in the open. Among others, the musicians from „Fête de la Musique“, authors, ministers, and new music groups can use the stage. The events are even free, you only need a negative test result and you have to register online beforehand – but I guess that’s nothing new, now.

Museums in Potsdam and Berlin
Surprisingly, museums in Potsdam and Berlin are allowed to open their doors again, even though the exhibitions are indoor. In Potsdam, I can recommend the Filmmuseum, FLUXUS and the Museum Barberini with paintings from the Impressionism and Baroque. In Berlin, most of the popular houses are open again. In some museum a negative test result is not required. However, when you are planning to go the restaurant afterwards you will need it anyways!

It was a quick shock to me when friends told me that the annual film festival Berlinale will take place even though we are all still in the pandemic and only (?) 18% of the population are fully vaccinated. The festival is spread all over the capital with many open-air cinemas. There, you can watch about 400 great films, produced from all around the world. A negative test result and wearing a mask are obvioulsy necessary here, too.

beachFIT Volleyball ground
Some of you may have heard of the new Beachvolleyball Ground at Neues Palais, which the team from Hochschulsport has built recently. If you want to use one of the seven fields, especially on warm summer days, you have to register online. On Wednesday, 16.06.2021, there is even a Beachvolleyball competition that you can participate in – cheering the players from the side is okay, too!
